The most feared tank destroyer of the Western Front, in its final G2 variant. Authentic 1944 Ambush camouflage, acrylic and enamel paint, full weathering with pigments and oils. Unique piece, signed and with a certificate of authenticity.
The Jagdpanther Ausf. G2 represents the pinnacle of German tank destroyers of World War II: the 88 mm L/71 PaK 43 gun on the Panther chassis, capable of destroying any Allied armored vehicle at over 2,000 meters. This 1/35 scale model reproduces the late G2 variant with 1944 production modifications: improved superstructure welding, modified engine cover, and gun with a monobloc muzzle brake.
The Ambush camouflage (Hinterhaltanstrich) was airbrushed following documented patterns of units of the 12th SS Panzer Division in Normandy: Dunkelgelb base with irregular patches of Olivgrün and Rotbraun, yellow dots on green to break the outline against Allied aerial observation. Weathering includes oil filters, enamel pinwash, rain streaks, chipping on edges, and polished steel on track shoes with 6B graphite.
