The HMMWV M1151 is the enhanced protection variant of the iconic Humvee: additional armor on doors and body, turret with M2 .50 cal machine gun, and complete communications system. It was the most common vehicle on patrols in Iraq and Afghanistan during the 2000s.
This model reproduces the desert tan finish with arid theater weathering: desert dust accumulated on the undercarriage, wheels, and sides, marks of intensive use on the body, and real wear on the tires. The radio antenna and machine gun are mounted and detailed.
